I highly recommend working with Jim! He was very professional, did a great job, and the portal that the inspection is provided through is awesome. You can create your punch list requests directly through the website. I've used him twice now and been very happy with the service!

I personally met the inspector at the home. He was punctual and professional. In observing the home inspection I found that he was very thorough and experienced. We had flagged one issue in the inspection that required an additional trip a week later which he did free of charge. I strongly recommend them and will use again for any future home purchase.

The inspector, Jim Edwards was excellent. He explained all of the issues he found and showed where he found a problem . The report I received via email also had photos of the problem areas which makes it easy to show a handyman what needs to be repaired. I 100% recommend Preferred Home Inspection!

Jim did a great job! Showed up early, introduced himself, explained what he was going to do. Asked about any issues that I knew about in advance and listened to my concerns. He kept us updated during the process and gave us a report at the end. His written report was emailed when he said it would be. A real professional.

I called Jim on a Saturday, I needed an inspection within 3 days but he was booked till next week. However; he went out of his way and was able to do it the next day, Sunday afternoon after church! He could have said no and spent time with his family (and I wouldn't fault him for that), but he was able to make it work. I didn't expect that level of service, but I'm glad I called him. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I would highly recommend Jim to perform your house inspection. He was very thorough with his inspection and took very good pictures of the notable issues he found on the house I am purchasing. His descriptions were very detailed on the problems and took the time to explain how each one of them should be repaired. We had a 30 minute conversation after the inspection mostly about life experiences. He is truly a very nice guy and I would not hesitate to use him again.Thanks for all your help JimTim

Jim was great and very quick with providing the report. He took the time to explain the issues or concerns with the house to me as well and provided me with some extra photos that I requested. He was pleasant to work with and told us to call with any questions at any time. I would definitely recommend his services.
